The Lore
STEM Ambassador
Camilla is the official rubber chicken mascot of NASA's Solar Dynamics Observatory. Her primary mission? Inspiring youth and young girls to pursue careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM).
119,000 Feet Up
In March 2012, Bishop Union High School students launched Camilla to the edge of space using a giant helium balloon. She traveled 119,000 feet up to measure an M8-class solar flare's radiation!
Space Suit & Lunchbox
She wore a custom-knit space suit with radiation badges and flew in a modified lunchbox, accompanied by seven insects and two dozen sunflower seeds. A true pioneer!
Ethereum Mission
After conquering the stratosphere, Camilla's new frontier is the blockchain. Launched on Ethereum, she's building a cosmic community ready for the next moonshot!
